Ok so getting opinions from people who have heard and seen the differences from both what would you guys recommened? Nismo dual intake and nismo Exhaust or Dual Pop Chargers and Bassani exhaust? how many of you guys have had the Bassani exhaust rattle against the rear sway bar? thanks

I've got the Bassani and love it. No rattles. If there is rattling involved, the pipes just need to be adjusted.

 

this is a great thread!... im trying to decide myself between nismo and bassani... both are so good and nice sounding.... I think i like the bassani on sound quality but I hope it will pull the gains out like that vid does show... but then on the other hand... nismo sounds great and has a clean note to it.... its a tuff TUFF decision.. and theres the borla system which sounds great and in a mag. on a dyno says it has great hp increases!!... AHAHAHAHAHAH what to choose!!!!!!!!!!!

Bassani! Very crips deep and clean sound. And as moentioned, I wouldn't let the rattle thing scare you, you can adjust it to fit the way its supposed to. As far as performance, you will not be able to tell the difference between which one gains more. But you will be able to notice a bit of difference over stock.

 

thanks for everyone that actually helped out (fluid1) sike, so exhaust wise am guessing that everyone would rather get Bassani good cause thats the one i was aiming for and now for intakes any suggestions pop chargers or nismo dual intakes? and thanks once again

Get Nismo, because I don't want more Z's out there sounding as good as mine with the Bassani :P

 

sup jose i vote stock box with drop in filters,heatsoak is a pita with aftermarket intakes trust me i had several intakes, pop charger,fujita,injen,carbon fiber mishimoto and the best one out of all is the stock box.

well from what it seems like alo of ppl prefer stock intakes on the HR so thats most likely what imma do but for exhaust Quinn what kind of feedback did you get from the black carbon fiber ones you were looking at?

i was a bit surprised on how the nismo sounded when i got mine. Definitely hear the exhausts in person first
