Dynoing a stock G or Z then dynoing a different one same year with mods does not tell you how much the mods gained.

The only way it is a viable comparison is on the same car.

OP, don’t get angry over it. It's just a fact.
Unless that probability is exceedingly high, the OP's method of comparison is fairly valid. Based on the fact that it was a different car and a stock Sedan and not a stock Coupe, the numbers lose credibility and accuracy, but it has pretty high validity.

^I agree.

It may not be an ideal comparison, and yes there can be significant car to car variation, but in the absence of direct comparative data, its conveys the gains and is in line with what is expected from the modifications.

If this was a (hypothetical) manufacturer posting this sort of comparison to show gains of a bolt-on being sold, then yes, that manufacturer would deserve a liberal hammering by forum members.

But in this case, its a regular forum member on a budget offering dyno data for review.

Our cars have the exact same engine. Both are Revup 6MT's. Not only are they both Revup 6MT's but they are both the new V2's due to oil consumption. If one engine was a non-revup then I would have never overlapped the graphs.

Tony, thank you for your input. That is exactly the message I was trying to convey! I agree, if I were trying to sell you my product and I posted that graph then I should be shot! I'm loving the MREV and XYZ pipe!
