Default Help getting Throttle Body off plenum!

Man, my hands are chewed up... even with a leather glove on the TB allen bolts don't budge... I must be getting weaker in my old age.

Thanks for your help ideas ahead of time!!!

You mean the throttle body bolts?.......if your using standard allen wrenches, try extending your leverage by putting a small piece of pipe on the handle side

yeah those TB bolts are a ***** and a half to get off...thought I was going to break my hex wrench. I stripped the hell out of one bolt...be very careful to push into the hex bolt straight on while you are turning...don't angle the wrench... Godd luck!

It's best to buy a set of Hex Wrenches that are attached to a socket that works with a 3/8" drive ratchet. I used this when I removed mine and no problem. I can't imagine trying to do it with a standard little 90 degree Hex wrench. Ouch!!!!!

Default Thanks for the support!

Finally got it off and finished the Crawford install.

I can tell the difference all ready in the midrange, and a little at the upper RPM range too.

Thanks to the folks that took the time to help me out.

Stuart: After your Crawford install, I would love to see what your max HP is now with your Borla, Crawford & Z-Xtreme. That is exactly what I am looking to do to my G35C. Do you plan to dyno anytime soon?

Opps, I almost forgot, add your AEM CAI to that list.
