Talking New Headers By X.E.R.D.

Whats up guys! I just got my car back from prototyping over at X.E.R.D. and finally got my new headers along with Dyno results!

Here is some pics of the headers as well as a copy of the dyno sheet:

It dynoed a increase of 17hp & 3tp @ the wheels! My driving impressions are, you can def. feel an increase of power as the car feels noticably faster, and the power band is smooth all the way to redline! I cant say enought good things about them!

Here is some info that Eyal over at XERD wanted me to pass on:

Our system is made out of stainless steel and comes with a lifetime limited warranty.

We are willing to do a group buy on these headers so here is the scoop.

Retail is $899 and not $799 like we posted above, we posted the wrong info.

If we get 15 people to join the group buy we will offer these headers for $675.00, if we get 25 people or more we will offer it for $609.00.

This is really the lowest pricing that these headers will be available at because once this group buy is over our dealers wont even get such a good deal on them.

We are ready to go into production and we can have 25 sets done within less then a week and be ready to ship.

Thanx, Eyal

Do these eliminate the cats? I'm having difficulty judging the size of them from the pic.
Thanks,
Jeff

Yes it was fully stock and had a set of 19" racing harts on it! I'm sure if I get a SAFC I can get a lot more out of them!

So, these headers are really headers and straight (test) pipes all in one??? I am assuming if you buy these, there will be no more cats on your car.

Exactly! They are full lenght headers that go from the block to the exhaust! No Cats ! so there is no need to buy race pipes.

As far as sound goes they sound really nice! Just increase the sound of the car a little bit and has a mild rumble to them.

Will these bolt up to the Stilles SS exhaust? Are the 02 sensors out yet?

Ricky,

The headers will not pass emissions in any state. Any time you eliminate the cats, forget about emissions. The tough part is, if you want to put cats back on for a simple e-check, you have to also put the stock exhaust manifold back on, which is certainly not easy. The gains definitely look good though. Looks like a nice product.

I'm a little concern about the sharp bends on the piping. It is very difficult to belive those gains with headers that have restricted flow.

Hello,

These headers will bolt on to your factory exhaust or any other aftermarket exhaust system with no modification.

Redline350,

Maybe the picture makes it seem like it has sharp bends but they are mandrel bends just like any other headers on the market, the only difference ours have more since these are full length headers.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanx.

These look polished or is it just that the SS is clean/new?

Actually the version in the picture is also ceramic coated and polished. The production version will not be ceramic coated so it will have a little bit of different look.

Go to www.xerd.com and look at the pictures on the first page, that is what these headers will look like (all other pictures but the 350Z headers).

Thanx.
