well in that case, it's your money so do what you want with it. remember you get exactly what you pay for, especially with ebay. good luck

All the knock offs have rust problems. Inferior steel, inferior welds. Do you really think a $450 cat back exhaust will be problem free

Yea I just noticed the X02 is done when I searched google earlier. So far there have been no no reported rust issues from any members with the cxlighting exhaust and there are quite a few members who have it. It also has equal if not better welds than the HKS, there have been reports of members here who have had problems with the h pipe welds on the HKS.

OP,
I agree with most. It is your money, so you should spend it wisely. Which is not to say buy the least expensive exhaust out there. Some say you do pay for the name brand. Some brands are well praised and regarded because their reputations were earned with quality products. On the other hand, some are mostly hype. Others will testify that the mounting, etc. will be slightly off, and the inferior quality will manifest as soon as you take it out of the box.
Personally, I saved up and waited a bit longer for the HKS. There are really good deals if you wait for sales, or even just shop around. I researched exhausts for about 4 months before I pulled the trigger and bought mine. Remember, exhaust systems are like rims. For most, they will be the first thing you notice about your car. Additionally, I've been reading a lot about other members buying the X02, etc. and later stepping up and buying an HKS. In the long run, some members have spent almost $2k "trying to save money." Others will change their systems like girls change tampons. It can be ridiculous.
I made sure I liked the sound, looks, performance gains, and that I would be able to live with the price. With my car, I would hate to "save money" and buy the less expensive item and be stuck with second thoughts, envy, etc. for the life of the car. Shouldda; couldda; wouldda's drive me bananas.
And remember, what's on the "inside" of the exhaust is what counts, if the edges aren't smooth, inner fittings aren't flush, etc. When I first got my HKS, I took a flash light and a coat hanger to the inside of my pipes to make sure none of the pipes were "off" on the inside. I was not disappointed.
All-in-all, if you can afford to save up I suggest you get the HKS. If you really can't drop that much bread on exhaust, no shame. Get what you can afford, feel me? After all, the exhaust system will only give you about 8-10hp max...buy it for looks; buy it for sound; buy it if you can.

Have you considered buying used? I was able to get a 80mm jic ti single for about $650 shipped. Buy something questionable but new for the same price, or one of the best exhausts on the market used? Your choice.
