Question Nismo exhaust vs Tanabe Exhaust

Atm i have the nismo exhaust and i love it alot, great sound. The problem is that i need to sell this Z. And get a new one, i dont think i will be able to keep the nismo exhaust, so i was wondering how the tanabe exhaust would be compared to the nismo? The reason im considering the tanabe is because of the cheaper price it holds.

why would you not be able to keep the nismo? The only thing we can tell you is to listen to soundclips and search a few threads on the quality of the tanabe exhaust.
man its tough actually not being a dick.

If you get a NISMO exhaust it comes with a NISMO sticker. How cool is that!

I need to sell my Z first before i can buy a new one, and i cant think of a way i could hold on to the nismo exhaust. Im thinking about the Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust instead of the nismo, would it be similar? would it be louder or quieter? Would it add the same amount of 6 whp, more or less?

lol, +1.

seriously. revert to stock. find a local one pulled off of a Z. I can't even GIVE my stock exhaust away. well, I gave the Y pipe away, but I can't find someone to freely take the mid pipe and muffler.

check your local craigslist.

Replace it to stock and keep that nismo for future or if you not going to use them, sell that nismo. You will make a extra $ out of it.

Btw, I have a stock exhaust and y-pipe laying around here, if you need them PM me.

I agree, that's your best bet. I haven't heard the tanabe in person, but from what I gather, it's also described as being stock-ish but on steroids. Nice sound, IMO.
