Now I'm torn between the HKS and and TurboXS as my final choice, the Borla is out of the question now. I'm just gonna have to find find as many quality videos as I can. I tried posting this on the local CZ forum but no one has it. I think the Turbo XS may be what I what when it comes to sound but the look of the HKS with bumper tuck keeps pulling me that way.....

Personally I don't like the sound of the HKS Hi-Power... Sounds flat imo.

Straight pipe, single exit = loudest? haha

Emperor.....custom maybe?

I'd love to figure out a way to get a higher pitch sound like an F1/Indy car lol. Something truly exotic. About like 360's or 430's w/ exhaust.

I say just get the FI exhaust if you want a TD exhaust. Best setup, sounds good, and get extra resonators and it'll be quiet even with TPs.

Well now I'm torn between the Nismo and TurboXS. I have a chance to get the Nismo for the same price as a TurboXS but I'm just worried the Nismo won't be loud enough for me. I never thought I'd have such a hard time choosing an exhaust...

The nismo without HFC or TP is going to be very quiet.

Thats what I was thinking, I wouldn't mind doing the Nismo/HFC combo but after searching through some threads I read of alot of cracking with Nismo/HFC.

WEAK , thats nothing. Motordyne Shockwave with test pipes and headers. My car could easily be heard well over 2 miles away, @ less than 3k rpms. I have a different muffler now, its probably got about the same sound as your now.

So yeah... lol.. who wants to wake up the neighbors getting home at 3am on Friday nights?

I've got Borla TD with Berk HFCs and it's loud enough for my needs.. mostly love the back fire sounds when I let off the gas between 3500-4000 rpm! At WOT while moving, people will probably not hear me coming until I get next to them and pass them. Also, a little bit of dynamat in the trunk and the echo buzzing sound goes away!

well in a couple months I'll be out in Chicago and I'll have HFC's with HKS exhaust if you wanna hear it in person. But that's in a couple months.

I'll also be recording the difference between HKS alone, and then when I put on my HFC's.

Wow, where are you getting a nismo for the same price as a TXS?

On another note, from hearing nismo's in person, they're very quiet. Great tone, but very non instrusive. If you're wondering whether or not a nismo is too quiet, then it probably is; most people seem to buy it BECAUSE it's quiet.

I think the turbo xs actually sounds very good compared to alot of other higher priced exhaust. In fact, I think it sounds better than my HKS, but I also think that the tips are too small, and the muffler design isnt anything great either.

Swapping my stock exhaust for a Nismo +$450. I've just about ruled out the Nismo now unless I get HFC...
