Default Will an 06' airbox fit and 03'

Just as the titles states I was hoping to put an 06 airbox on but I was wondering if there is a difference in how they are mounted or shape. Also if you have one let me know and I will gladly take it off your hands.

Yes. It fits, and is considered an upgrade.

Yep. And as others said, it's an upgrade. You'll feel a bit more punch from the car.

Default Price of Oem Air Box

I called a local dealership and they said the price was $288.40 plus tax for just the box....wow....guess I will just wait until someone is selling it.

From my understanding you can buy just the back 1/2 of the airbox from the dealership. It's around $90. There's a big thread on g35driver on it.

I did find this but I am not sure it is the box or not. They have the same dealership price so I would assume so and it is only like 90 bucks their price.

I think eventually a lot of us will just switch to this and get rid of the aftermarket ones.

That G35 Driver link is incorrect in stating that the airbox was only for 06 Rev-ups. It MAY be true for G35s, but both 5AT and 6MT 2006 Zs have the revised airbox. I have mine sitting right here, and can confirm this. So to the OP, any 2006 airbox will work regardless.
