Default Pop charger question...

Hey guys i was checking my filter for my popcharger and is crazy filthy!!!
I just looked up on the Jim wolf website and the filter goes for $65 bucks!! I know you can clean it but to me that just makes everything messy and it does not clean it at all. My question is, does anybody use another type of filter to replace it with??? something that would fit??

Just buy a K&N recharge kit. You remove the filter to clean using water in the sink or something else to blow out the rocks/dirt/debris whatever. Then you don't get the other stuff dirty.

recharge kit is around $15. Time consuming, but easy. Unless you are particulary drawn to the blue color of the pop charger filter, the recharge kit will work perfectly.

+1 just cleaned mine, took like 20 mins. You don't need to buy a new filter.

Im not running one anymore but, i ran out of the cleaner but still had plenty of oil left so i just used dishwashing soap to strip the old oil and clean it very thoroughly then let dry then oil it the next day. Worked even better then the cleaner it comes with.
