I completely agree with you now, I just recieved the exhaust earlier today and the finish is not great, needs better welding techniques. On the upside I bought the exhaust for cheap in comparison to others and will still get the same HP......slim to none. I still think that turboxs is a great company that makes quality products when considering the price.

Make sure to tighten the bolts to spec. Also, the order in which you connect the pieces matters. Flanges that have 2 bolts will have a higher chances at leaking than the flanges with 3. I always found that doing the 2 bolt connections first helps to minimize the leaks. If you're getting ridiculous drone, you probably have a leak. If you overtighten the gaskets, you will probably have a leak. Usually 30-35 lb. ft. of torque is the right spec. I may attempt to put mine on this Sunday.

Failed. I was going to do an magnaflow resonator but it was too large. Owner of the shop said do 2 glasspacks on the y-pipe, i just said f' it if i don't like the drone on my lazy days then the silencers are going in.

I did however get a hangar welded, keeps hitting my subframe. And yes i tried to reinstall it about twice, once by me and the second time by Import Experts. If anyone has this exhaust they'd understand after looking at it.

I have this exhaust and have no issues with it. I love the way it sounds - at idle and when I step on it. The drone is/was noticeable for me when I cruised in 6th but since getting my HFCs installed I no longer hear/notice the drone whatsoever. I will say it is loud but that was to be expected after adding the HFCs. I'll say the look and quality of the product is not bad. I have no complaints.

I did get the rubbing sound after adding the HFCs but prior to that i had no rubbing/knocking of the exhaust to the car. I took it to my local midas and the guys there put on a shorter hanger on the mid pipe and its perfect again. The fix cost me $15 which was the $15 I tipped the guys - they didn't charge me for the hanger or 20 min of labor.

I have my TXS waiting to be installed in my basement. I was hoping to get to it yesterday but I didn't. The hanger issue, is it something that all TXS exhaust have or is it that once you put the HFCs, the angles changes slightly and moved the mid pipe so that it started to make contact with the other part? I'm on stock CATs, BTW.

For me it was never an issue until I installed the HFCs. And after that, installing a smaller hanger for the midpipe fixed the issue.

here's mine, i can take a better pic this weekend if you like as its supposed to be like summer here ( 50 degrees ;0 ). Let me know if you want underbody shots or what angle you like. And before anyone mentions it - its already been lowered. these were taken before i lowered it.

I'll try to install mine tomorrow and take pics. The weather is supposed to cooperate so hopefully I'll get it done.
