Default New A'PEXi N1 (8.9 RWHP) exhaust

I'm seeing this exhaust sold ( http://www.i-m-racing.com/an1ex358rwga.html ). I bet it sounds nice. Anyone with any info seeing it in person or anything? Aside from those who did a custom job before this was being sold... Sorry if there's an existing post on this exhaust, but I haven't seen one, and figure it's relatively new.

It's just a bit louder than stock but has a good tone to it.

No way... dude seriously... N1 stands for the N1 racing curcuit in JDM land. Racing requires only straight pipes. TRADITIONALLY an N1 style exhaust will be only one step quieter than no exhaust at all.

What do I call a N1 exhaust?

A straight pipe with a resonator and a straight pipe muffler, nothing else.

Exhausts are going to sound different for different cars. But from what I've been told it's not all that loud... it breathes better.
Not all N1 are straight pipe. On my 00 Celica GTS I have a N1 system. It doesn't have a resonator but it has a small muffler with a mini N1 canisters.
The Canisters on the Z is a mini N1, can't remember what the piping looked like. I have a dual Universal N1 system on my car.
It has good power rating at almost 9 hp.

I had an Apex'i N1 exhaust on my 240SX and it was extremely loud. The 240SX system used the larger canisters (115 mm, I think), so if the Z's system is smaller it might not be too bad. With the Super Silencer it made a huge difference and I bet on an otherwise stock Z it would probably be about as quiet as stock.

Doesn't the super silencer reduce the HP/torque gains?

Default sound

I tried to e-mail the company to see if they have a sound file they could send me, but I got an e-mail back saying their mailbox was "over it's limit". Oh well. Does anyone have a sound file for this exhaust? So far I like the sound of rht 5Zigen exhaust, but I contacted the company and they said that they are not currently available in the US. The exhaust that SportZ used for their dyno shootout was a prototype.

I'll repeat what I said...

an N1 EXHAUST... IS a straight pipe with a resonator and a straight pipe muffler. If you want to debate I'll provide you with 10 N1 exhausts for 10 different cars and you will understand.
