I just went there and told them I need to check my CEL. They got out there little OBDII scanner and scanned it real quick and told me the code. They had "free CEL scans" written all over their building windows..

Agree with you there for this situation. Most cars don't need it, but the small percentage of cars that are more sensitive will benefit from some SS wool in the non-fouler chamber.

gsingh350Z - It sounds like your CEL was just a one time thing, but hit me up and we'll get you in touch with some. Just in case it happens again.

Update! I just got done driving 110 miles on this tank with Sea-Foam in the tank and back to Shell V-Power Gas. The light did not come on, and the car actually ran better! It came on last time after 20 miles or so. So it was either the Chevron gas, or the car needed some fuel cleaner ran through it to keep it from throwing the light on again. I will keep you guys posted.

Interesting. Never would have thought that fuel might have anything to do with it.

I only use Sam's Club 93 octane or Shell's 93 octane.

Well if your fuel system gets dirty, your car will not run as efficient as it would being clean. So I ran the cleaner and went back to Shell and it has not come back on yet.

The car ran fine for 3k of miles or so without any codes with the HFCs. So in that time something changed.
