yea they say with a NA 350z, the best intakes are the pop charger, and injen intake on the cold air side, but they also say that your stock air box is amazing for good air for your z, i would just get a k&n drop in filter for 50 bucks, injen and pop charger can be anywhere from 150-280 dollars...so if your on a budget, do the drop in filter
and the difference between that and the legit one is the legit ones are researched to make precise bends, and see what design gets the most power and efficency, that one your looking at prob was just made whatever way it would fit in the Z, alot of R&D goes into intake designs...you would be suprised

the 350z doesn't gain anything from intake if your engine is stock. save up and buy a plenum spacer, your car won't be able to tell if it has a $300 intake or a $30 intake becuase they're the same except for the air filter

true dat if your cars computer doesnt know about a mod you have put on then it cannot use the equipment to perform at its best and really get some ponies out of it....so basically if your not tuning it after you get intake, then your just paying for sound, and maybe a little bit of power but nothing compared to tuning it
