Hey future Z owner here by the end of the month. Im currently looking into mods, and i have a question regarding exhausts. I did a search and really didnt find a good answer, so i dont mean to be beating a dead horse here.

Im looking into the borla exhaust. I was on freshalloy.com and heard a sound clip/movie of it and i really liked the sound but that my opinion.

Has anoyone changed the headers yet with a full exhaust?
Now my question is are headers worth changing on the Z?

What are your opnions on the borla if you are an owner of it?

I would buy the Borla dual without hesitation. It has some gains but the sound is great. One thing you have to ask yourself before you buy the exhaust is how load can you tolerate it. Stock is like 81 db at idle, 89 db at 3000 rpm. The Borla is 88db at idle and 92 at 3000 rpm so it is not much louder but the tone is much better than stock in my opinion. As for headers, I am going to sell Borla headers as soon as good set of long tubes are avaiable from a reputable tuner.

 

so as far as the headers are concerned you are not happy with them and you dont think its worth to buy them??
