evo2 vs borla
hey guys i'm in the market to get my 3rd exhaust setup. i had the hks and latter on i had the fast intentions intimidator.
now i'm debating between the greddy evo2 and the borla td exhaust. i like the sound of both.
which one is the quitest? from what i read this are the quiest set ups and i've listened to both on youtube but can not tell which would be the quietest.
thanks

yeah tthe one thing i dont like about borla is that it doesn't come with flanges but with clamps. but borla is little cheaper so after selling my previous set up i will come out even.
Dont worry about the clamp design, pain the *** at first, but it works fine.
Borla exhaust just keeps getting better with every add on you add to your collection. Starts off quiet and just gets exotic without the loud raspy cabin drone you get from the exhausts you've had already.

I heard the evo2 locally and it was ridiculously quiet.
I used to think Borla sounded lame until I heard one in person. The guy also had test pipes..Borla is probably the only exhaust that comes close to sounding exotic!

I like too like the Greddy sounds, keeps the exclusive VQ sound and its definitely easier to go louder with that exhaust. Borla is way to raspy for my taste, at times it can sound cheap.
i got the borla exhaust installed today. i got to say that finally i'm happy. the exhaust sounds perfect its not too loud even though i have HFC. there is almost no incabin drone, let me refrace there is no drone compared to the F.S and HKS. its just what i wanted an exhaust that at low rpms sounds stock but when u step on it gets loud. i hated that with my privious set ups i would be driving at 30miles/hr and u could hear the damn car like 3 blocks down the road like it was a fkn truck.
installation was the part i didn;t like since the exhaust doesn't have flanges u have to make sure that the parts a rotated in the right place or it will hit other parts of the car. i'm getting a little bit a noice from the passenger side, no biggie i will fix it later. its just a pain cause i'm doing all the work with 2 jacks on 32degree weather, couldn't feel my as.s when i finished. if i had access to a lift it would have comeout perfect.
