Hey, I'm new here and i just got my first Z last month its a 06 enthusiast 6sp. Anyways, I got a great deal on an injen sp series CAI and Im wondering if my friend and i can install it ourslelves or do we need to take it to a shop? Also, does anyone else have this intake? If so what are your thoughts on it?

 

its easy, do it yourself. I don't like the extension to make it a cold air intake, but the short ram is not bad. I took it off because intakes on 350Zs aren't too good. Bogs a lot, a lost of some acceleration, etc. Sounds good though.

 

I was planning on doing it myself until i found out i need to remove the front bumper, should my friend and i have any problems with this?

I ended up intsalling it myself as CAI, it wasnt too difficult but im worried about hydrolock since its now out in the open in front of the radiator, does on eof the water shield covers solve this problem?
