Chroming intake plenum
to shorten a long story, bought a polished upper plenum but wasn´t satisfied with the outcome of the polishing. as sh#t happens in live i scratched it...don´t ask why/how.so i had so sand it down to get rid of the scratch.now i´m playing with the thought of gettin it chromed, but since i´ve two "different" type of surfaces , the one polished the other ust sanded, i´m not quiet sure about the outcome should i get it repolished? or am i fine with sanding the hole plenum (since there is not really a good polisher around my area)
the other thing i thought off is to get some exhaust heat resitant paint and just paint it flat black.
any thoughts, suggestions???
(btw car is db and i´ve the amuse titanium intake pipe installed)

chrome it!!!!
the chromer will have to polish up the plenum as their first step of work anyway, so don't worry about the area that you have sanded. the chrome finish is only as good as the finish on the base material.
I've had a chromed plenum for a couple of years now. it's been perfect and so easy to maintain.
