Default Cold Air Intake Help

i was lookinn around and coudlnt find where i can find actual facts about CAI specs. I took a look at the threads but it was only opinion based (whats the best) something else about it being close to radiator and gettin wet?

someone expalin/help?

Saw K and N filter statses 10.67 lol but some people said bad things.
Fujita states 10 as well but im not sure..

there is really no need for a CAI... the nismo one is retarded anyway.

get a short-ram.

^^ short ram i read causes heat problems unless you have a turbo which intercooler takes care of it.

also it provides more low end torque i think

woww ur thinking about this wayy too hard...

if its gonna cause too much heat.. then go buy a new hood.. and bumper.. to support your newly installed, high powered, intake.

Some true cold air intake systems have shown to lose power. . .I went with the short ram because it's the simplest and closest to natural. . .

you can get heat soak if you're sitting around at a light or in traffic, but after a few seconds of driving problem solved. . .keep the oem air duct in place if you're going with short ram. . .i've never had a problem

every design has some sort of trade-off, there is no "perfect" intake. . .

^^ thanks man i do have air duct so short ram intake doesnt lose power? ive read both sides >_<

if you have a 2007/08 z - your only choice is longtube injen or stock.
