I personally would say neither and tell you to go with High Flow Cats to eliminate the rasp that is associated if you decide to go this route... But if I had to choose a TP, I would go with Berk test pipes because of the quality.

The couple of hundred are worth the money to buy the High Flow Cats. Be sure to get the (BERK) metallic substrate which will offer a higher flow and a lighter weight if you do decide to get these. The power gain from the TP over the HFC is not that significant, but it is cheaper. In my eyes, either way you can't go wrong with BERK, like I said before I just don't prefer the rasp...

well found out that berk's test pipes are not resonated.

so i think i will go with LABREE!

read around and seems like everyone is happy with them..

except i read that some of the main guys who made the test pipes arnt there anymore? hmm i wonder if that makes a difference?

but what concerns me the most of the price drop.

i read around and it seems people got them for around $400

but i called labree motorsports and they quoted me $290?

was it just pricy when it first came out? and then lowered the price later?

thanks

Just go with resonated test pipes. Depending on which exhaust u have you will not get rasp.

I currently have Berk HFC's and am swapping them out for Kinetix test pipes, but only because I'm F/I with an STS remote-mount turbo. The Kinetix pipes seem to be the better/best of the resonated test pipes based on what other STS owners have to say.

If I was staying N/A, I would definitely spend the extra $100 (if that) to get Berk HFC's. They are much stronger as they have a boxed mounting bracket, you won't get the bad exhaust smell, and there's less of a chance you would get in trouble with the cops.

^ Not the same company anymore, but used to be. go with Fast intention RTP. I heard many good things about their customer service, especially from G35driver guys.
If i have to choose RTP, i will go with Fast intention. Just my two cents.

The 3 co-partners of Fast Intentions use to work for Labree, but quit and started thier own business called Fast Intentions. All of Fast Intentions design are original and their suppliers are top notch. I had the Labree test pipes but switched to Fast Intentions after seeing the inside of resonator Labree used and the Fast Intentions had better welds as well.

My advice if you want test pipes is to get Fast Intentions for quality/customer service. I would stay away from kinetix because I have seen a couple threads where they cracked I believe. Also look into Stillen, they make great quality parts as well. And i've heard good things about AAM's test pipes so also check them out.

And there is no way test pipes cost 400 bucks, that's almost HFC money. Good luck

No problem, and test pipes and the nismo exhaust sound great. I use to have that exact setup and it was amazing. Enjoy
