Default Cat-back and headers

hey everyone new to the site ive been looking around for a while at a cat-back borla exhaust for my 2005 350z with borla headers an high flow Catalytic converters just wondering if spending around 2 grand for all of this is worth the claimed gains of around 62 hp and the sound also if i would have any back preassure problems

thanks

62 horsepower, huh?

Do yourself a favor, pick up a Motordyne MREV 2 manifold, 5/16ths spacer and some underdrive pulleys. You'll see bigger gains than any exhaust, but it won't be anywhere near 60hp.

Borla Performance Industries offers an incredible stainless steel exhaust system for the popular Nissan 350Z. Borla was among the first with a bona fide performance exhaust upgrade for the original Z cars. The new Borla Cat-Back™ System (PN 140045) is a true dual exhaust with the famous Borla XR-1® Race-Bred Mufflers. Independent dyno tests have shown incredible gains in the 20+ horsepower range. When complimented with the Borla custom fabricated stainless steel high quality austenitic Headers (PN 17221), power numbers as high as 24-horsepower have been observed. Unlike other aftermarket exhaust that actually loose power in mid-range and low end, Borla gains through the entire RPM range.

so like 20ish on average is what there claming

and for cats my friend said "about 12 horse" but that was his a$$ dyno"

my bad more like 25+ but yea sounds like bs 2 me also

sorry bout the wrong area didnt relize there were differnt sections

+1 on ricer math. Actual gains will be minimal.

ricer math , don't forget the spark plugs for an extra 10hp, then a spacer and popcharger and you could probably get around 100 extra hp.
