** NEW Velocity Manifold ** SSV replacement **
Just wanted to know if anyone has this new kinetix intake manifold. Is it worth the $$$?

ok, 30whp isnt completely lying from the graph but its kinda bending the truth. if you look at the peak numbers, there isnt a difference of 30whp, they are claiming 30whp after 6400rpm where the DE normally falls flat, this new manifold supposedly helps the DE breath up top and not fall flat on its face. if it does what it claims it does, then it could be a great product. we need a member to test this thing out.

I wouldn't take a graph from the company marketing the item as gospel. Marketing has it's tendency to be less than truthful or accurate. It may be fully legit and truthful, but unbiased testing is the only way to judge accurately. I'd be curious to hear if this version is any good considering the last version was, from accounts that I've read, a disaster.

I Know that that graph they supplied may not be entirely true, that’s why I’m asking everyone if they have had any personal experience with this new version. It seems to be a great product, and would benefit even more with F/I. I plan on going F/I eventually so this intake sounds like a great buy over something like a Plenum Spacer witch from what I’ve here’d they tend to leek under boost.

looks like another crappy kinetix product with boasted hp numbers. paying that much money for such a minimal hp gain (reality) is not worth it but hey, it does look pretty.

I did many searches for this new Kinetix version and found nothing. If this is a repost than where is the original? The Cosworth is a nice manifold but it lists for 1,313.00 from Cosworth USA and the Kinetix list for only 749.99 from Kinetix Racing. They both have listed gains of 30HP, and the difference of 560+ dollars would lean me more to the Kinetix manifold.

241WHP? That's not a gain, that's a stock run with a cooled off car. The 230WHP was probably after a number of runs or just one run with a hot car. Also, if this is a 2003 with no mods, how is the engine running to 7000RPM?
