Default Kinetix Racing velocity intake

Does anyone have any experience with this intake? The dyno shows 30+ at 6800 rpms. Im going N/A with the z and will be installing a UTEC ...worth the money or just go with the plenum spacer

1 - look up the SSV manifold, and reviews.

2 - never buy a Kinetix product because they don't RnD their products and completely lie about gains and have terrible manufacturing standards.

Didn't really notice any power gains it just sounded louder. Never got the chance to dyno it.

I never really liked the look of this. I guess it looks ok if you order the engine cover with it but if you spend the money for the manifold and the cover you might as well just buy the cosworth manifold.

i know a few people that have the SSV as well as myself and we are all FI. This new version of the SSV is build a lot better then before. I haven't had it on the dyno yet but you can feel it can breath a lot easier now. They are even on some high HP cars. Not as many curves for the air to go around like other manifolds. Hope this helps.

Sounds like some other problems if no gains. Likely happened when the throttle body was removed and re-installed and it is now no longer running the factory map right. Mine is running 401bhp N/A at the crank now but I do have a few other mods.
