is it impossible to hold a conversation inside the car?

 

one more thing, is the sound more of a loud, high pitched, race car sound? Or a deep, throaty loud? Or in between.

 

yes you can hold a coversation in the car. how it sounds in those video's it how it sounds.

 

Just installed mine. Hey Kramy the one you have on your car now, does it have the pressed portion on the mid pipe where the cross-member is? Mine does, but before I ordered it I think I read that it was not there on the recently made systems.

yes mine has the crush in it, but it does not affect the sound at all. yes it is loud no doubt. but it sounds so sweet when you stomp it.

^ I just installed Test Pipes... LOUD screams at high RPMS :P. Rear wheel specs are 10.5x19 +2 offset(done with kics 15mm spacer), -3.xx camber wrapped with 275/35/19 tires

 

That video of the supercharged 350z is bananasssss, I thought your exhaust caught on fire for a second. Can you post a video with test pipes on?

 

I'll do my best to do it sometime this weekend; with tp's and tanabe y-pipe the car is crazy loud now!

Yesterday I was stuck in traffic for a couple minutes. A few people walked by on the other side of the street. Then I did a u turn and hammered on it .... The ppl jumped and turned. It scared em' good AHAHAHAHAHAA!!! I love it!

here is a good way to make a sound clip,( im a recording artist so i have this stuff already but heres an idea) get a laptop, get a usb interface, recording software(audacity is very good for free) and a dynamic mic. tape the mic to the back bumper above the exhaust. record and drive.

A friend has the single on his DE with everything else stock. It sounds great at speed but during idle at a stop, the drone gets really tiring. Also, because it's a single, the empty slot on the right rear bumper just doesn't look right, IMO.

He's thinking of taking it off.
