If you drive in cold weather go for the ISO thermal. If not, get the cheaper one...

The Iso Themal will actually be quite usefull in hot weather.

It will reduce the upper and lower plenum assembly temperature by 30-60 deg F. The air flowing inside the plenum will also be cooler because of it.

this may be a late reply but whatever..
i just installed my MD 5/16 spacer.
install went smooth, but i noticed it is running low rpm's, almost to the point of shutting off..(500-600)
i'm thinking its some loose bolts.

but also, i didn't remove the stock gasket, its really thin and the manual says it's not necessary to remove it.
can this have anything to do wit the low rpm's.

thanks.

Check for leaks, check to make sure all the hoses are plugged back in. Check to make sure the rubber oil spout filling ring is not suck between the plenum sealing surfaces.

If its not any of those, the throttle body may need a rest. The reset procedure is listed on the back of the installation manual.
