Injen SES/Borla Dual with cat pipes sound clip
Here are the sound clips of the Injen SES and the Borla dual without cats. The Blue Z (me) has Injen SES and CAI with cat pipes, the Red Z (webcar) has Borla headers, cat pipes, Borla dual, Injen CAI.
There are 4 clips two are in neutral 2 are getting away.
I'll try to contact Victor to see if he can host them.
Keep posted!!!

Injen CAI + Borla is definitely rare compared to the prevalence AEM + Borla setups (at least on this forum)
I personally chose the AEM + Borla combo because they both have a very similar note at WOT ... balances out to a loud beefy horn sound that I love, with a hint of a muscle car burble. Sounds very close to the porsche 996 sport exhaust. And it's got a 1-2k rpm "deep zone" for setting off alarms in parking structures.
Injen seems to have more of a hissy woosh sound and coupled with a Injen SES, together it's a very ripping/buzzy "japanese tuner" sound. Incredibly agressive, but not my cup of tea.
I'm really looking forward to hearing the test pipe setups, as from what i've heard .. it just seems to amplify the current tone.
Gains are similar, tho i'd probably say the Injen combo may be good for 3-4 more.

webcar... sounds 100% sweet...
So this is borla headers/lsd pipes/borla catback ... and didn't you modify your H pipe somehow?
The blue car definitely backfires a few times badly (especially visible on the left)... made me cringe

I know! What's up with that? I know that after I got my test pipes on, I see white smoke coming from the exhaust if someone guns it hard. And I know white smoke is fuel, and fuel burns. But why does this happen with the cats off? Did this rich condition always exist or did taking off the cats cause the ECU to richen up the mixture?

The fire is caused by the cut off (rev limiter) this is normal when you have a Free Flow (No Cats) exhaust system... The Borla do the same but the fire doesn't come out like Injen because of the X muffler.

The rev limiter is done by the ECU sending a cut off signal (fuel). this is for the engine not past the limit in RPM's (6600) when you have no cats and a free flow system (Injen) the fire that is created by this "cut off" (chain reaction of the mix of fuel air and fire "spark plug")is gonna past rigth by the system and you will be able to see it... if you have cats or other more restrictive system you don't gonna see it clearly... my car does the same but because of the desig of the Borla the fire can't be seen... I explain this things better in "Spanish".
hope this help a little!
