Default which HFC to pair with HKS

hi,

I searched and found nothing. I recently got my HKS exhaust and is wondering which is the best (no rasp, sound and performance) HFC to pair with it...any opinion would be appreciate. Im actually thinking about crawford or randon technology....

If you are shopping for a high flow catalytic converter, why would the brand of exhaust make a difference? A catalytic converter is a catalytic converter.

HFC will have a different tone, but it will not matter what brand you get since they will sound the same. so there is no "best HFC" to get; it comes down to what you want to pay for them.

Sorry, but I disagree!!!!! I started off with Crawford HFC's on my HR engine with a Nismo exhaust, then replaced them with Berks. Sound was COMPLETELY different. The Berks were MUCH louder.
So to answer the OP's question, the HKS Hi-power tends to be towards the quieter end of the spectrum, so if you would like it to be a little louder, Berk HFC's would be a good choice IMO.

agree with reserved, there can, and will be differences - and they can be substantial, from fitment, to reliability, to sound

the first question the OP should answer is what year his car is

I have Berk HFC's with an HKS exhaust on my 03 right now. Hard to imagine a better sounding set up - I love it
