Any header reviews??
i think the crawford headers look totally sick, dudes. 1800 is waaaaaaaay outta my price range though. i will b very envious of anyone who gets a hold of a set. i too would like to see a header shootout. there was one for my old car, '00 si, and it was very interestin information. it would do the community a great service indeed.

How come no one consider the XERD long tube headers? It produces 17 WHP. I think downshift(sp?) is using it in his race car.

The XERDs will not pass emissions, nor will pass visuals.
Further more, the Crawford Headers plus our high flow cats make more power up top, and give far more favorable torque down low.
You make the choice!

I already made my choice. If it's about passing emission test then I can understand, but visual inspection, you mean how it looks? Or people need to see the picture of it? The picture is on the forum somewhere and as for the look, you can't really see much of it when installed. I know fore sure Crawford products are top quality and produce power. I'm too was waiting for the Crawford headers, but as for the price is out of my range. True it produces more power with the high flow cats but it costs triple the amount of the XERD headers. I got the XERD headers + UR Pulley 3 piece kits + the Crawford plenum for less than the price of Crawford headers + hi flow cats
. I'm low on budget so have to shop carefully, but If I Have money, I would definitely go for the Crawford
..Just my $.02

as far as visual inspection goes...... well, obviously if the look under your car for a set of cats, and there are none there, yeah ... your gonna fail regardless if it passes the sniffer or not

Where we live, TONS of our customer in Cali, and plenty more nationwide HAVE to have cats. Per visual inspections.
I would check to see if you have this sort of inspection where you are. Because if you are in a check center, and they can't find your cats... you are REALLY going to hate the fine they slap on you.

I think we scanned it in somewhere... it's down at the shop.
I know with the plenum, headers, and cats... Dougs car made 40hp at redline from his baseline dyno.

How much HP did Dougs baseline car make at redline?
So if you live somewhere where they have Sunaco 94 Octane gas, And your 350Z has Crawford Plenum, Crawford Headers, Crawford Cats, Nismo R-Tune Camshafts, SGP 11.5:1 Pistons, Pauter Forged Rods, Borla True Dual, Injen CAI, JWT Flywheel, a 3 Piece Pulley Set, and maybe a Technosquare ECU to top it all off at the end? You might be looking at a 315+RWHP reading on the dyno-jet?
Pretty damn impressive, a car like that is hopefully hitting at the least high 12's.
It's close to 7000K dollars in parts though.
Would the Crawford Headers + Cats, bolt right onto a Borla True Dual?
