Default Any header reviews??

Okay, i did a search, but really haven't seen any good reviews on the headers out there. I see a few posts on borla and nismo but no others. I'm sure some rich folks have the top secret titanium headers. I hope you post some reviews on how it sounds, how it feels, if it's very noticeable. Also, i'm leaning towards borla because i heard they were CARB, so legal in california but a lot of people said they are crappy in quality. If i buy the nismo ones, I would hate to pay to pull out the nismo headers if they don't pass smog. Is there any plus and minuses about the borla's, nismo besides these? Is there any new headers coming soon that will have the CARB endorsement?

thanks,

No need for a shootout...

Just wait for ours!!! (Hehe... seriously... a header shootout WOULD be slick. Just tough as it's NOT easy to install these things)

We made more than those "other guys" race headers... with only our equi-length headers and cats!!!

... note that keeps them STREET legal!

All the data is on www.crawfordzcar.com

Gains with just the headers were 16 up top I believe?

Eta... we'd like it to be sooner than later, cause we want them on our cars also!!!!!

Some NICE torque made between 3 - 4k RPM.

Add those numbers to the cats which are making 5hp up top... I'd expect 19 - 21hp gain with both!

I think we scanned it in somewhere... it's down at the shop.

I know with the plenum, headers, and cats... Dougs car made 40hp at redline from his baseline dyno.

I'm gonna need a "Crawford" badge after I get done buying all of your mods.

Once the headers are avail. I'm going to do it all at once.

Everything we have brought the to table has been dyno proven...

You on the other hand might want to wait for FI... to move that big "custom" fiberglass enclosure with 4 10s for dat annoying mad thump thump you're going to need more than NA has to offer.

Don't worry... we'll h00k y0u uP wit NAWZZZZZZ!

Kind of ugly looking, but if it works, it works. So are yougoing to have both mild steel & stainless steel versions ?

well, borla headers haven't been gettin any bad reviews, and i don't think anybody will come close to the cost of them. u can steal them off ebay for 450-500 bucks. their forte has been torque gains, not necessarily hp.

Collector size is is 2.25" - Estimated cost at this moment (subject to change) we're targetting between $1200 - $1800 depending on the type of steel we choose to use.

Heck yeah, the prototypes were ugly as hell!

Looks were our LAST concern in putting these together. We wanted to them to fit and make power. Now that this has been done, looks are on par! Stay tuned!

WOW!!! I might put together a Crawford car!!! With the Plenum, high flow cats, headers, exhaust and intake we are talking almost 50 HP up top... WOW!!! SO it looks like a N/A car with a lil juice might be a very very VERY fast car..

Whats next with you guys exhaust and intakes!!!

Keep up the good work guys and keep the updates commin!!!

thats great ..... ive been following these crawford parts a bit now ... i will be most likely picking up the plenum in a month or 2..... then the headers, if the price maybee goes down a lil bit, that would be sweet ...... and i think the look awesome... all hardcore and down to buisiness looking!
