Default AAM Competition 3 in. True Dual Exhaust

Hello all,

I wanted to know if anyone is using the AAM Competition 3 in. True Dual Exhaust. The reason I ask is because I have a Borla exhaust which comes with an H pipe and I was thinking about cutting it out. I was afraid that by cutting the H pipe out I would loose power or mess the motor up (lack of balanced back pressure.) Then I noticed that AAM doesn’t appear to have any type of “cross pipe.”
Does anyone have any constructive thoughts?

once owned the TD 3". Great exhaust but reason for straight piped exhaust is its mostly for FI guys. I say go 4 it and cut the h pipe out. Def shouldnt mess nothing up

^---- That's what I was thinking also. I'm running boost so I should be fine; the only problem is the Borla isn't 3"....
