Header Wraps

I have a 2004 z and I am installing stillen ceramic headers. Some people have suggested using header heat wrapping. Is it worth it? Does it create any complications I should know about? Any thoughts?

I'm getting some for my future headers per engine heat and potential rasp elimination.
