Default HKS 2.5" true dual vs 2 Apexi N1 w/3" piping??

i have an exhaust question. i know the bigger the piping the more exhaust flow. i have the HKS 2.5" hi power true dual exhaust but i was thinking about getting 2 Apexi N1 mufflers and having 3" piping done from the cat back. do you think the Apexi would be a better route to go? i have a Turbonetics turbo kit.

your current exhaust already flows may more than your turbo kit is capable of putting out

then you should worry about that, and all that such a swap entails, from additional supporting mods, proper engine mgmt, etc. On a stock engine, the HKS will still be more than sufficient until you get into massive power figures

over 600whp, which entails fully building the engine, etc

will it hurt? no - but be prepared to wear earplugs

yea i'l deff have to build up the motor. my guy said he can do all 3" piping for $450 mandrel bend. he did a clean job on my eclipse. I can get the Apexi mufflers for $200 ea so $850 for everything isn't bad.

Kinda confused with post above. One how does a td exhaust that is 2.25" a great free flowing exhaust and is good enough for a st and plenty for a tt? 2 if u r going tt and u don't know what ur gonna go even if u will why don't u put the custom exhaust on the backburner until u get everything installed. Idk how ur exhaust builder is gonna prep an exhaust for sumthing u don't have yet

when i go T all i need to do is get the piping done from the res to the down pipes. for now i want to get the most flow and try and pull the most HP i can. the piping is going to get made for the turbonetics set up which is almost OEM route except it uses a reverse Y pipe.
