Default installed Injen CAI today

Got my Injen CAI in the other day so me and my roommate put it on today before I went to work, here are a few pics of it from my phone. I know I need to clean the engine bay but I didn't have time before I had to go to work. The previous owner before me just had a cone K&N filter on there so it was basically just a SRI and now I have CAI, I will say it is a little quieter. Haven't had a chance to really get on it yet to notice anything plus it was 100 degrees outside. The install was kinda of a pain I think it took us an hour to do. We left the front bumper on and just undid the splash guard under the bottom to get the filter and stuff in

Mine never did. I had mine on year around. Until recently, I changed mine to a short ram type.

well so far it survived the rain and the carwash lol. I think it feels better with the CAI vs the "SRI" that was on there before. it was just a K&N cone filter on the end of the stock tube

Default Threw my Injen in this weekend as well

here are a couple of pics of the CAI. Gains are definitely noticeable. A bit more torque. Peppier launches, smoother/slower decelerations especially in 1st and 2nd gears. Sounds a little meaner in the upper bands. MAJOR PAIN to get the extension tube threaded threw the old intake space. Had to take it to a shop where a buddy managed to get the tube in there. Threw it up on the lift and put the filter and splash guard on where we could freely stand underneath the car. Definitely worth the investment. Very happy with the feel of the new engine. 2006 MT with no other mods other than 20" wheels.

My filter is at more of an angle due to the 4" splash guard. Also swapped out the oiled filter for an AEM dry filter. K & N stickers have been removed.

thanks! I really like the improvement, you can feel the difference throughout the RPM range. It feels way less restrictive but I'm also coming from a previous car that had I/H/E so I was used to a free flowing car and going to any stock car just has a restrictive feel to it but all in an all I'm happy with the mod and think its worth the money and upgrade.

Is the Injen logo on the pipe a sticker or badge? I'm thinking about getting me one, but I'd like to keep it clean with no branding on the pipe.
