Default stillen exhaust

hi folks, after doing alota research on the type of exhaust i want, i narrowed it down to 2 systems. either the nismo s-tune cat back for $1099 or the stillen SS for $1150. i like the sound of the stillen better, but im half and half for performance and sound. which do u guys prefer, and also do i need to buy headers too? headers costs an arm and leg, and ur other arm for installation i heard. some options or suggestions plz?

Yeah... but you get lot's of torque, lots of H.P. -sounds great, and is a TRUE DUAL with high quality stainless steel....no imported junk. Read the reviews.... STILLEN is hands down the best exhaust for the Z and G. THey're coming out with a sedan exhaust as we speak...!!!!

You said that the STILLEN is the best on the market right now, but how about the INJEN.....I thought that was making more power than the STILLEN?

The Stillen is very nice. I have had mine for a long time and it seems to get better with age.

I wish I worked for STILLEN! Unfortunately, I'm in the tech industry... Not into wrenching and manufacturing. Do like their products though... They own a bunch of buildings in Costa Mesa - our office is across the street from them and we lease the office space - same wireless antenna and server farm though. It's one their main building's rooftop.

By imported... I meant that some systems are made oversees in India and other countries where they use thin cheap steel. If it's price you're concerned with... they're the way to go. Always follow the mantra "you get what you pay for".

Yes, but only 10 lbs.

G stock is 67lbs and Stillen is 77lbs. On a Z is maybe 7-8lbs more.
A driver's weight is more significant

wait for the greddy or hks. I wouldn't go with stillen because of weight and bad customer service and wouldn't go with nismo because of price. greddy will be releasing there evo exhaust mid november and hks has a duel they will be releasing at the sema show in november thats my .02

I think Injen is the way to go. My first concern is power and weight. So I took the HP and TQ numbers in the Z magazine exhaust shoot-out, added those up and divided it by the weight of the exhaust. Injen is the best. Yes, Stillen did make a little more power but the weight killed it.

I'm sorry but HP/Weight is not a good test of an exhaust. You nned to look at the whole powerband.

I think Apex may be worth taking a look at. 8.9 HP to the wheels and about that much in torque for $495. Dyno sheet attached.

You sure do know a lot about Stillen (from reading your past posts) for someone who doesn't work for them.

Even though you DO work for them.

You don't have to lie man. I've known you worked for Stillen since you registered.

Your IP links you to 5 other Stillen usernames. One which is Adam@Stillen! Are you trying to talk to yourself?

Another username is stillenguy

P.S. I don't see why you are trying to hide anyways, Stillen is about to be a sponsor.
