Default Gutted Stock Exhaust on my HR!

so ive read a thread on here about someone one gutting their stock exhaust so I figured i would try it since it saves about $1200 from the aftermarket motordyne that i wanted. Plus I like the look of the stock exhaust on our z's and basically I wouldn't pay 1200 just to get a maybe up to 10hp increase. Some on here might disagree but anways not here to start trouble cause alot of aftermarket exhaust look just as nice if not better and may sound better too. worse comes to worse i'll just by an aftermarket later. I had my muffler off for a couple months loved the sound but shortly relized it was blowing hot exhaust on my rear plastic wheel well and melted it. so that was the end of that. so for those wanting to just take the muffler off don't do it. plus looked like crap with no muffler. Im going to try and get some pics before and after.

So now when the exhaust enters the muffler it doesnt have a path to get out. It just crashes around in there? FAIL

You did a good job cutting a big hole in the muffler.

i don't understand, are you in the process of gutting it and then you're going to close it up or something? That's not the finished product, right?

It's interesting to see the inside of the muffler, so I count that as maybe the only positive that will come out of this thread.

wow. I've jokingly told people that wanted more volume to just poke holes in their muffler, but this is taking it to another level.
