My MREV2 and 5/16th Copper Iso thermal spacer have both arrived. Now my question is, how long will the install take? My guess is that I don't have the time to do it before a road trip I have to take this weekend.
I'm not completely incompetent, but I do tend to work a bit slowly. I think it is simply an large supply of innate caution.
I'm sure that the nice folks at MD could give me a figure, but I'd like to hear about long it has taken those of you who, like me, have more "modest" wrenching skills.

Bout how long it took me, maybe a little longer. I took my time on it and double checked a lot of things. You will def notice a difference after install so do it before the trip!

Thanks for the feedback. Since MD says it takes 1.5 hours, I figure it should take a slow guy like me 3 hours. Since I have to work tomorrow, and leave Saturday morning, I think I'll wait. Plus, I'd like to get a baseline dyno before I make the change, just for my own information. There is a shop about 3 miles from my house that has a Dynapack. They are convenient to do baseline pulls. However, the first slot they have open isn't for over a week so I may wait until then unless I get too impatient beforehand.
