On stock 350Z's HP peaks @ 6200 RPM.
I noticed that with the technosquare ecu, the 350Z's Horsepower curve still starts dropping at 6200 RPM, correct?
And with the Crawford Plenum, the 350Z's horsepower curve rises all the way to redline.
So will the 350Z's horsepower curve rise all the way to 7000 RPM with the ecu and plenum?
Or does the horsepower curve start dropping again somewhere between 6500-7000 RPM?

not yet .. since Crawford doesnt have any plenums to send to TS for testing.. they are of such hot demand, they cant spare one.. :P
typically with the ECU and plenum, you should get power gains consistant of what you would normally get with just the plenum, just that it will maintain its climb, and you might see some additional power from a return.. and to keep evil350z happy, no you dont necessarily have to have the reflash to get your power, but u can make even more with the combination of the two.. which is always the case with any modification with the ECU..
the only way is to get technos a plenum for a perfectly tuned program....

Come one Crawford! Send them a plenum!
I would definately get both as a package deal kinda thing. They seem that they would compliment each other well. The ECU with its re tuned timming and A/F mixture, and the plenum's freed top end, cap it off with a higher 7100RPM rev limiter and you have one SWEET engine.

No need to wait guys. here it is, albeit on a g35 sedan. Green curve, bone stock G35 5AT sedan.
Red curve, my current setup with Injen CAI + Crawford + TS ECU tuned for the combo.
Enjoy
Not bad for a 5AT sedan, and that's without a TD
exhaust/headers which are going in soon.

Cheston, in another thread you recommend that anyone considering the ECM flash with the plenum installed notify TS so the proper tuning can be applied to account for the plenum. Furthermore, there are several people who have both the plenum and ECM flash.
My question is: if TS has not been sent a plenum for testing, how do they have a program for it?

they have tested the plenum on a G35Sedan and are pretty much basing most of their programming for that... but they dont have it for the Z yet, and would like to optimize it for the Z...
Tadashi's pretty good at calculating expected AF ratios w/o having a phyiscal car there from years of experience..
just waitin' on crawford...

I assume this would pertain to the G35 Coupe as well, as it has more in common with the Z than the G sedan? Would it be your recommendation, then, for Z and Coupe owners with the plenum to hold off on doing the ECM flash (unless they can take their car there for testing) until TS has had the oportunity to fully test those cars with the plenum and develop a fully optimized program for them?
As you said, Tadashi's pretty good at estimating where things need to be and likely has something that will suffice, but people would likely want the fully optimized program for their cars if testing results in further tweaks to the program, which would mean either going back to them or sending their ECM in again and more down-time for the car.
Oh, and I don't suppose they're going to be doing a program for the FX35? There should be very little difference between it and an auto G35 Coupe.

FX35, Murano, 2002/03/04 Maxima, 03/04 Altima, basically all the newer VQ35 motor driven nissans

Hey Gurgen-
whassup man.
sorry about my lack of replies.. work is gettin' busy(-ier) than normal.. your dynos look GREAT for a g35Sedan!!!
hope to see you again soon-
whats next on the list? *cough* *cough* turbo? *cough* *cough*

If Todashi needs a test mule, guess who that's gonna be.

Ok you say you are running the red curve on this dyno graph, and that is with the TS chip, than what is the blue curve that seems to go to a higher rpm?
