Default Help! Baffle/Resonator Rattle BAD

I've had a really loud and "clangy" exhaust problem for awhile now and a shop finally told me it was a baffle issue inside the resonator. Apparently, there is no way to fix this and I need a new one. The shop said they couldn't weld it because it was stainless steel...

What should I do? Should I let the shop replace it with one they have or do I need to buy an OEM or aftermarket resonator?

I don't even know what a resonator is or looks like...I'm a fairly new Z driver. Thanks!

For the record, you can weld stainless steel. having said that, I'd replace it if i were you. either get an oem one or take advantage and get an aftermarket exhaust ftw.

The shop cannot weld steel? I would not trust anything they tell me.
