Default Ichiba Y-pipe Topspeed, or other..

I am looking at a few different Y-Pipes. I just don't understand why there is such a big difference in price between them all. I know you get what you pay for, just looking for some help to make an informed decision. Here are a few that I have seen. Thanks

I am also wondering about the Stillen as well.

some are welded really well and have better flex pipes that wont damage after a couple thousand miles. I have the Ichiba which I bought from B2designs for 210 shipped, put about 150 miles on it and havent had a problem so far. Try to search for reviews.

PS. stay away from Megan

Thanks for the response I went through about the past 15 pages looking for anything Y-pipe related. I will have to search for some individual reviews.

Do you feel like you gained any performance from the Ichiba? That is the one I am really leaning toward. I think 220 shipped is a fair price to pay. As much as I support MD I can't pay that much for their pipe.

I dont think I gained much from the ypipe but im sure i gained some hp with that and the MD shockwave. The only way to see real gains from an exhaust is to get test pipes

if youre interested in getting the Ichiba go the the dealer section in the marketplace and pm B2desgins, maybe you can get a better deal

1. what size test pipes are you running (or cats)?
2. what size is the piping on your catback?
3. get a Y pipe that will match up

Y pipes, when properly done, can net decent gains in power and torque, but the diameters need to be constant

As far as price differences, some fit great, and some don't - some use cheap stainless, and some don't, and some are welded nicely, and come with good quality hardware, and some don't

Get a motordyne or just keep the stock one.

I will have to find out the piping size. I have the Kinetix test pipes and the RSR exhaust. if anyone happens to know the piping size and can input I would really appreciate that.

At this point im not spending over 500.00 on the MD pipe. If I was going to drop that much I would just save my money and put it toward forced induction.
