first mod im getting for the z is an exhaust.. im stuck between the apexi n1 and the invidia n1.. who likes what? just wanna hear some opinions before i go ahead and get one

I went with the Apex cause I found it cheaper (shipping to Hawaii is a b!tch). It wasn't as loud as I expected because I still have stock cats and y-pipe. I was used to loud though, I had a 240 with 3" straight piping. Mine came with the silencers if being too loud is a problem for you.

 

Is there actually any difference between these catbacks? The topspeed pro, invidia n1, apexi n1, and some others out there look identical I can't tell the difference.
Anyone know which sound really good in real life out of these with no rasp?? I've listened to a bunch of youtube vids and topspeed and invidia have the most clips.

i dont know much about these cars yet but i know one thing for sure that the top speed ones look ricey as hell.. they sound great and are one of the deepest exhaust but again look ricey but its all up to the buyers preference after all what you do to the car matters to you the most not what others think.. but invidia and apexi's are nice if you like "brand name" stuff you can get a invidia n1 setup for 568 shipped at worldoneperformance.com good luck with your choice!

 

I don't know about the others, but the apex is not a catback, it's axle back. Your question is subjective though, something may sound good to one person, but someone else might hate it. Also, the rest of the exhaust setup would make a difference.

I don't have any rasp in the low rpms. It gets a little raspy when I'm at 4k+ rpms at WOT.
