Default air filter

i have an 05, with the stock airbox and my air filter it has been about 13k miles and is clogged and very dirty and it needs to be changed. i am looking for a DRY air filter and have seen apexi. i tried searching for it but there isnt a lot on this forum about it. if you guys have any opinion on this drop in or any other suggestions to even do for an intake that would be around the same price about 35$, it would be greatyl appreciated. also how does the apexi drop in compare to the stock air filter.

thnks in advance

Try HKS, I'm not a wet filter kind of guy either. There weren't many dry filter options for the High Rev though but I've been happy with them so far.

Nevermind, looks like they only have it for the High Rev.

Search, there's a lot of air filter posts here...

I have the Amsoil Dry OEM drop in filter and am very pleased with it. I went from K&N to the Amsoil and felt no power difference between the two. The Amsoil filter can be vacumed out periodicaly too.

FWIW i'm FI too, so if there was a significant flow difference, it'd definatly be likely to show up.

P.S. i'm not an Amsoil follower, i used M1 oil, lol.
