Hey guys,

Anybody know of a place where I can buy a resonator that will fit a Nismo midpipe? There is a system I have been looking at, but the resonator has been removed, so I want to find a universal one that I can weld on there. Any input is appreciated.

Any straight one that has a 3" in and out should work. A resonator is just a straight through piece of pipe with some baffles off to the sides.

 

^^if ur gonna bolt the midpipe to a nismo exhaust u will need the nismo mid pipe or tanabe i beleive it is somethin like that which is the same design as the nismo...i beleive motordyne has one also that will work with the nismo tailpipe section....what r u trying to do here start with that and explain a little better....i have a spare nismo mid pipe but dont think id really wanna sell it in case something ever happened to mine..

 

or just get the motordyne xyz w/resonator built in like i did..worth every penny, but after reading ur post again seems like u are just trying to find a resonator to weld back into a nismo mid pipe where someone cut it out? or somethin like that? so u could just use whatever resonator and have it welded in

 

^^ Thanks, and yea, I'm just trying to replace the resonator that was taken out. I wasn't aware that any 3" resonator would work out fine, so looks like I'll buy one and weld it in.

 

There ya go, that's all you have to do! I'd check Ebay. There's nothing to a resonator, so it should be cheap.

we have universal resonators in stock - they are sold by length as well as inner diameter
