Default JIC Spartan DE (type 2)

I've searched around and there doesn't seem to be much info on the Type 2 (dual tip) in the forms of weight.

What I'm curious on is the weight of each version of this exhaust. Full stainless, semi-titanium, and full titanium?

Only info I seem to find is on the JIC SINGLE (N1 style canister) and the only one that I've heard weight on is the full titanium, which ranges from 7-9lbs depending who you hear it from.

Most titanium single canister/dual tip y-pipe back exhaust seem to weigh in the range of 19-25lbs from what I've seen from the different companies that have or had offered this style exhaust. Just curious on the JIC compares to others, and comparing the full titanium to semi to full stainless.

Thanks in advance, and any info that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Later,

Jay

Have you checked JIC's website? I think they have a chart with the weights.

Yes I checked their website, and unless I missed it, I didn't see any chart. And I just re-checked both the USA and Japan site, still not seeing anything.

^^ I'm talking about the dual exit, single canister. ^^

And since the N1-style canister (single) system weighs about 7-9lbs, I have a hard time believing that the system I'm asking about weighs the same. Consider most other single pipe, single canister, dual exit full titanium systems weigh in the 18-25lbs, I figure the JIC is probably along those lines as well. Just would like to know for sure, and also how much the semi-titanium, and full stainless weigh.

i dont think 5-10lbs either way will make any sort of difference. as long as you like the sound and look, thats all that should matter.

Being that I plan on running in stock class, and an exhaust is the most I can really do (other than the few suspension items, etc), the weight is kind of a factor. But I'm just mainly curious is looking at the prices of the the 3 types of the same exhaust, just seeing the weight differences of full SS, semi, and full ti, and comparing that to the price differences to justify the weight loss vs. the cost.

And I plan on calling JIC Monday, just trying here for 1st.
