I don't have a 350 yet but I will as soon as Im out of school. Im currently in Marine Mechanics Institute to become a marine tech but cars and racing are my real love. I was thinking about a single exhaust exit thru a Apexi Universal N1 muffler with like 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust piping coming back from the y pipe. So anyone try it? I think it would sound nice and have a good look to it. But that is my opinion but I want to know what yalls is? Also the boys from North Texas with the Zs email me im from Pilot Point Tx but Im in orlando FL right now until Nov. 2004. Thanks and tell me what yall think.

 

I believe Skidazzle's got a single exhaust on his Turbo'd Z.

 

I did the same exact thing except did the y-pipe with 2.5" and 3" after the y-pipe..

So how is the sound off that single HKS muffler? Is it louder than others or about the same. Also is that a custom made Y pipe and if so how much did that run ya. Plus you think you got anymore horsepower out of that single exit exhaust. The exhaust system looks good.

 

The HKS Ti is pretty loud.. but thats what i like about it.. it sounds really mean, kind of like a supra.. We haven't dyno'd the system yet, but top end feels really good, i can't really say i feel that great of a torque gain.. but top end feels really nice.. that is what i was going for when we were making it since it felt like the z was choking when the rpms got high..
