Default Exhaust for FI

Hey, All,

My Z is a 2003 6spd. I have a ProCharger kit on it (which I love) currently pushing 7lbs and 363RWHP and am looking to put my 9lb pulley on.

Here's my question:

I'm in dire need of a wider exhaust. I LOVE the magnaflow's sound, but its only 3" over the factory's 2.5" (<--is that right?). Long term I'll be putting a IPP engine in and pushing around 16lbs. Long term goal of 500-550rwhp.

What kind of exhaust do I need to handle my goals?

Will the 3" magnaflow single with dual out muffler do it? I kinda doubt it.

Do I need a true dual to flow all that exhaust?

Someone help me...

You want to go with a 2.5 TD exhaust or more for FI. IPP(never heard of that). If so then get a 3" TD exhaust. Honestly search and you can find your answer. Also look at a new KIt Ex. TT(really the only thing to get to 600hp+built engine=about 85% reliably sense your FI)

Maybe I searched the wrong thing... Got lots of the wrong thing when I searched. I have noted the procharger's lack of high boost potential. But I was thinking about tryin it out. Worst that can happen is it won't run the numbers I want or will break belts or whatever. Then I can sell it and get a TT kit. I just wanted to know what a good turbo exhaust size is. I LOVE the Magnaflow, and though it would probably support the numbers I'm running now (363rwhp 7psi) and what I will be running in the near future (390ish at 9psi), it probably won't support future mods. Thanks for the insight and funny video. I hope you don't think I'm that dumb...
