Angry

I have the Injen SES dual with the angled tips. I like it and I'm not talking smack on it or Injen but, when I talked to "this one guy" from Injen he told me that if I wanted the Injen exhaust it would have to be the angled tips because Injen was not going to a straight tip version... WTF... If I would have known about the straight tip version coming out I would have waited. Thats kinda sh!tty of them.

dkent2,

All the guys I've met at INJEN are pretty cool. So someone at INJEN told you that?

On the bright side since you have a limited exhaust I'm sure you would almost trade for a straight one.

Don't get me wrong the people at Injen are awesome. They helped my out when I F'ed up my Intake rubber mount and hooked me up with a new one for free. They really did tell me that Injen had no plans to change the 350Z exhaust to a straight version. I would trade my current exhaust for the straight one. Again I am not saying I don’t like it cause if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t have bought it. I just would have rather had the straight tips... oh well.

At the time you asked the Injen rep, they might not have been planning to release the stright version.

To me, if you wanted the Injen to be straight so much, you should have just went with the Borla (cheaper) and if it wasn't loud enough, get some borla headers.

like Turcoupe- my understanding from Injen was that they never planned to release a straight tip version. But finally decided to do so because of the numerous requests. I don't think the mislead you, I think they just decided to release the straight version after you spoke with them.

Its no big deal I like my angled tips too. I agree that when I talked to Injen, at that time they prob had no plans of making a straight exit exhaust. Is anyone here going to SEMA?

They got rid of the coffee can look, now all they have to do is get rid of the coffee can sound.

I doubt it will sound any better, but can anyone please post a sound clip of it?
