just climb underneath with your car jacked up and shake the exhaust and see what is hitting. that would be your best bet. you might need to loosen a few bolts and turn the exhaust pipes where they are not touching.
Doesn't the HKS require you to remove/re-locate the evap canister?
no that was the older style greddy evo 2. you just need to take off the evap cover. thats all i did when i had mine. but it was only on a week and i sold it anyways.
Reason why there's a noise is bc u don't have HKS. It's a knockoff. Only way to stop it is replace y pipe Intersection with a x pipe
Hope you the best of luck OP, but Black350z may be right. The HKS Hi Power didn't have a lot of comments about noise but the knockoffs did. Most heard it in the Y-pipe, but are also some reports of it touching the sway bar.
hks had some issue a while back with their hi power, it is actually the right exhaust hitting one of the bolt on the diff that is why it makes that metal knocking sound when you a bump or whatever. had the same issue with my 06
