Default Ingen SP intake or POPcharger w/ ram air scoop?

cant decide between the two. i know the injen goes down to the front bumper and the popcharger is a good intake and i can add the front bumper air scoop and that would be nice. cant add the air scoop with the injen, it would be pointless. anyone think one would be a bigger gain over the other?

Ram air from a front air duct in the bumper is nonexistent. The reason for this is that the flow profile for the front of our cars causes air to go over the area, not into. The only reasons you would want the duct are 1) aesthetics and 2) the slight improvement in intake air temperatures. The Popcharger has heat absorption issues at idle (stop/go traffic) that a CAI would not. However, it is cheaper and easier to install/maintain than an Injen CAI. If you're looking for gains, go with the CAI over the JWT.

In all honesty, though, you might as well just go with the stock airbox ('06) and a drop in filter. Prevents much of the heat absorption issue that is experienced by the JWT, and has comparable flow. On top of that, it's about $40 for the filter. That's the suggestion that's going to come flying in here any minute, anyway.

Get the kind that does not ingest water into the motor. Water inside the motor is bad,
