Magnaflow Titanium exhaust... getting installed today.
Magnaflow contacted me today regarding a test fitting they need to do. They'll need my car for 1 day, and they'll give me the titanium exhaust when they are done... complete with dyno sheets! COOL!
I drove down there (20 mins drive from where I am) during lunch and dropped off my car. I got a rental until tomorrow... but while I was in the shop, I was impressed to see another 350Z, complete with Veilside V.3 kit and a turbo kit. I have pics of it I will post later. Also saw a cool RX-7 in there as well.
They showed me the exhaust, and it looks SUPER COOL! It's very much like the HKS titanium single exhaust. It won't be a dual tip design... which saves weight. It's got that cool blue/purple tip too! This exhaust was created in Japan, because Magnaflow is a newb with titanium, and they wanted to make sure it's done right... I'll be the first 350Z with their new titanium exhaust.
I'm gonna pick up the car tomorrow during lunch. I'll take pics and post up the dyno when I can. I can't wait!!! And to think... this was all FREE!!!

Sounds good. Post some pics and do a sound clip too plz. Did they say how much it weighs? BTW, is Magnaflow the same as "Auto Sound" or "Car Sound" down in RSM? I drive by it all the time and was tempted to stop in and see what they got.

Sorry I haven't followed up on this.
The piping did not fit perfectly; it would make contact with other parts of the car. They took the piping back to get it re-bent, and they arrived last week. The fit was fine, and it sounds AWESOME! However, as the titanium piping "grew" from the heat, it would make contact with the strut. So they're making the hangers a couple centimeters longers so it will clear.
It will be on my car by week's end or by early next week.
In the meantime, here are pics of the exhaust from Magnaflow's upcoming events site.
Also, some pics of the Magnaflow building, and their other project 350Z.
I will follow up after it's installed on my car.

I dont like the fart can look. To ricey for me. But do you know how there other exhaust for the 350Z sounds? My friend had a focus with magna flow exhuast. It sounded real good, nice and deep. Not that nasty fart pipe sound which the other manufacturers carried.

I actually like it. I think exhausts like the Borla and Fujitsubo look too stock for my liking. Plus, the titanium burnt tip is just awesome.
I'm out in CA... out here, we've got the worst of all the rice cars available... Lots of modded cars... and I don't think anyone here would consider this exhaust to be rice.

I just wish someone of this side of the pond like Magnaflow or Borla would make a stock-style titanium system...I was getting excited about Magnaflow developing a Titanium system until I saw the pics...we need more Titanium "Porsche" style without paying for the "Yen" conversion....just my 2 cents

I got the exhaust installed today. Took awhile during the holidays to ship it over from Japan...
IT LOOKS SWEEET!!! Sounds awesome... Not too loud either. They said it's 3 decibals under the legal limit.
As far as the dyno, it only gained 5 horses and 9 torque... but hey! It was free!
I will post pics when I take some. Probably by this weekend.
