Default SRS exhaust 1 year later/test pipes n y pipe.video- DYNO n VIDEOS

so as cheap as i bought this exhaust long ago. it has actually held up really well. 1 of my test pipes had to be repaired and my y pipe replaced and yet this "crappy" ebay exhaust hasnt changed tone or cracked any welds.

nice. Why did the test pipe need to be fixed and why did you have to replace the ypipe? Just want to make sure it wasn't because of the exhaust that you have.

It would be good info if other people put their info in a thread about their ebay exhausts and how long they have lasted. It would good info for those on a budget I would say.

I had this exhaust...Obviously my results were different. This was the crappiest exhaust I've ever seen on a z...Ive had 3 exhausts now, and I finally got a Nismo, which has been the best. This one was horrid compared to the actual nismo.

helix test pipe got a small crack in the o2 bung that slowly turned into a hole which resulted in new test pipe and o2 sensor. the ichiba y pipe it seems as though threw some time the flex joints just wore out and started making all sorts of noises. maybe i bottomed out? dono. but either way the catback srs has been pretty good. constantly check the welds just cause i know how much i paid. and there always good. only complaint i had was that the tips wernt straight, but i wasnt a fan of the tips they came with anyways so i had them replaced. sound wise i love it and anyone whos ever sat in my car does 2. even with test pipes its not obnoxious or off the wall crazy. till wot its still reasonable. in my opinion it was a great buy.

Started to sound like crap, rattled everywhere, muffler leaked, tips rattled after fixing them twice, material was crap, muffler started turning brown/orange in the middle, and started to drone more and more as time went on...I had it for about 6 months I think.

Its good, had it for over a year now. As for gains im not sure, i wouldnt switch if you already have test pipes not worth it imo.
