Default ss exhaust turning goldish/brown

i have a trustpower extreme II stainless steel exhaust.. i have had it for about 4 years now.. when i first bought this exhaust it looked like a mirror.. but over time it started turning goldish brown.. people told me it was due to my exhaust getting to hot.. anyways i tried just washing it with soap and water while washing my car but it doesnt do anything.. i was wondering if there was any kinda of solution that anyone knows about.. just want the exhaust to shine again.. thanks

You can you ss polish or never dull. Niether will last very long, though.

You have an authentic Trust Extreme? You should post some pics. Where did you get it?

Even decent SS with 4 years of road use will start to stain. Nothing a little bit of acid can't take care of! Ive had good luck with a can of diet coke and a ball of aluminium followed by something less abrasive like never dull to polish it off..

The best gaskets are oem. You can a full set for around 70 bucks from Nissan. Have you tried the ss polish?

You need the ss polish. You can spray it on and let it sit, then buff it out.

aluminum foil, balled up. don't make the ball too tight, if it can form around the exhaust itll polish it better.

Send the pics to your email. When it asks you to download the pic, save it instead, then send that to here.

What did you end up using?
